Devices: the programmable card game
£25.00
Devices is all about fulfilling customers’ orders.
Unlike most games on the market Devices is a continual beta (1.7 and 1.8). It’s a work in progress. As more people play we learn, make improvements and release a new version. The aim of the game is to create Devices to fulfil customer’s orders. Build from a range of common and core parts to process ‘cubes’ that can be used for purchasing more sophisticated parts. Improve your design to make the optimal number of the right coloured cubes to complete an order. Create more complex machines to fulfil multiple orders at a time. Improve your reasoning and understand logical step processes.

Update 2025 - back in stock!
We now have an update to Devices. This is now Devices 2.0. It has a new look and refined rules. Â Your challenge is to create devices that can generate the right cubes to make an order. Get that right and you can complete an order. The winner is the person to score 30 or more in the last round. Devices is for up to 4 players. Solo - give it a go.
We make this game in Italy and here in the UK. This is a short run game as we continue to improve it. The small batches sell out fast. We want to run a larger run but we will nee your support to make that happen.

Playing Devices
In the example below, the player is going to fulfil a 12 Point Order. The player has used two of their own hoppers they receive when they start. They have purchased an addition hopper for 2 from the basic parts shop. The then purchased a Basic Splitter (1), a Special Splitter (1b, 2r, 2y) for 3, a Special Splitter (2r,5y) for 3, and a Special Splitter (2y,1r) for 1. They then use Load for the third action and let the Device run. The two blue cubes are split, one goes into the the first hopper, the second goes up to the Special Parts Splitter to be turned into 2 red and 2 yellow. The two red get turned into 5 yellow and drop into the second hopper, the two yellow go to the bottom and turn into 1 red and that drops into the third hopper. This gives the player 5 yellow, 1 red and 1 blue. There is 1 yellow surplus that returns to storage. The rest are used to fulfil the order for 12 points.
